Jer. 9:24 – ‘what are you bragging about?’
Micah 6:8 – there is so much unlocked powers, when we depend on Christ, we yield our mindset to His, there’s so much that can be accomplished, like the miracles in the Bible, when we let God go about His ways in us, as God + the Holy Spirit did with Christ. Sometimes we see that miracle, and we don’t draw the connection that it involved our prayer life sounding from the heart, a humbleness like Jesus.
Matt. 5:9, Isaiah 9:6 – trying to give Christ His place (Romans 14:17), in a church life, while integrating His life and what the Word says -> expect there to be a riot, it’ll feel like being hit by a folding chair, in a wrestling match, when the referee isn’t looking, people be sneaking hits.
Phil. 4:5 – a needed reminder
2 Samuel 10:11 – something I think about, if we as members in the Body of Christ were all there for each other, what would all churches look like?
Isaiah 43:7 – the words here are so excellent
Isa. 61:3 – if God held a mirror to us and compared us to the spiritual stature of Christ. What part isn’t conformed to His image? Let’s work on that so that we can spiritually construct together, by His Spirit; the building-up of the very image of the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 3:9).
2 Cor. 13:5 – think about this
Ezekiel 36:27 – every single word is beautiful
Luke 22:31-32 – “Dear Lord, please pray for me, thank you, I ask in Jesus name.”
Eph. 1:19-20 (NIV) – I like this translation, a different way of thinking about His power
Phil. 3:10 – do you? I ask myself that
Luke 22:29-30 – “conferred”
Exodus 33:18-19 – wow
1 Peter 4:13 – “overjoyed”
Hebrews 2:10 – “pioneer of their salvation”
Joshua 6:16 – the NLT, if you think about it, imagine if the Lord gave us Vancouver, we just need to apply His leadings, to get there.
Psalm 103:19 – I like how this sounds
Psalm 93:1-2 (NIV) – “armed with strength”
Exodus 14:31 – “the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against”
Col. 3:1-2 – challenge but worth working toward
John 17:21-23 – let’s cooperate
Psalm 90:1 – in many ways, we experience this verse sentimentally because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
Gen. 22:9-10 – “they came to the place of which God had told him” are we on the same journey of His roadmap (Luke 15:17)? What is our inward spiritual condition (the words used in that Luke verse are important)?
Acts 4:13 – very very interesting
Gen. 2:21-24 and John 19:34-37 – neat?
Gen. 12:8 – ask yourself why, why would God inspire someone to do this and what is God attempting to accomplish. Why go through all these lengths and widths? The outward ears listens to too much non-Christian instructions, so round and round the children of Israel went…… 40 years in the wilderness…..
Exodus 19:5-6 – meant to bring forth spiritual value, my gosh not stuck in sinful practices but designed for so much more for His Kingdom.
Isaiah 35:8 (NKJV) – a nice verse
Jude 1:20-21 – this sounds like a script from a commercial you would hear, walking past a tv in Heaven.
Psalm 84:5-7 – I like this
John 3:6 – I have come across a very specific human-individual in my life, where I could tell that this person was anointed, I could tell that through this person, the Spirit was literally replicating Himself in so many people’s lives, effortlessly and profoundly. People even attended the same place that he ate breakfast and spent so much time with him because they felt something so living from the Lord that they never knew could exist. A ministry like that began very humbly, without much resources at all, and the Lord sustained that calling of his to so many languages, even after he passed-away.
Matt. 25:14-30 and Zech. 2:10-11 – something I think about, did I multiply what I have been entrusted with? Did I use that allotted time to bring about a negative or positive balance for His Kingdom? The Bible isn’t all about saying nice things, there are sobering warnings that need to be seriously considered. This carries much spiritual weight -> 1 Peter 5:8; 1:13 (ESV) and 2 Tim. 4:5.
John 17:24 – Where are you, right now, in your life? I find that the time that the prodigal son spent wandering, apart from the Father, can be a narrative we often find ourselves in this world.
