1 Thess. 2:14-16 – I don’t want us to be okay with making people’s lives more difficult for trying to or establishing fruitfulness for His Church, by His Spirit.
1 Thess. 2:13 – I enjoy seeing the realness of God’s Word. How real Jesus is, I hope you all experienced that of Biblical proportions.
1 Thess. 2:11-12 – that can be challenging and requires the Holy Spirit’s outworking but this is a lot of fun -> Matthew 11:20(a)(c) NIV.
Matthew 5:4 – I find that the Holy Spirit inwardly tells us that there is more to it, when we do mourn, for going through something that is part of His plan to express His love to people (1 Thess. 2:8 -> 2 Cor. 4:18).
Matthew 6:7 – outside of our Christian circles, do we talk like pagans? Remember 1 Thess 2:4.
Mark 10:27 NIV – use John 6:63, as a different way of seeing that Mark verse.
Matthew 7:8, 8:8 and 1 Thess 2:1-3 – the stuff we pray about regarding Christlikeness + His Church can often be answered by people yielded for His sake, who go through extreme sufferings, to fulfill what His Words promises (Phil. 1:12).
Matthew 10:42 and Psalm 63:1 – even Costco gives out free samples and their mission statement isn’t a Christian charity. In that Psalm verse, let’s look at that very differently (Proverbs 11:30 KJV): a possible present day frame of mind for unbelievers, who don’t know Christ, as their sufficient resource. In Ecc. 3:11 – “He has also set eternity in the human heart”, so they are looking, you have something of Christ the source of living waters to offer. At Costco, they use different sample containers, so what will you use to convey Christ to others? I notice that people who aren’t even “hot” for Christ but “cold” in their relationship, still try to “share” the faith. That can be a reminder that we need to ask God to reheat out desire for Christ with the Holy Spirit. For me, some of my unbelieving friends, I offer: if I could pray and they are open to it; also, to pay for food that I ate with them, if they read a chapter of the Bible and explain it to me. You know your demographic well, and what to “spiritually cater” them toward, so they would experience Christ, from what their “soul thirst for” “where there is no water”. I’ll end with John 7:38.
Hebrews 11:8 NKJV – obedience to God can bring us to physical and spiritual landscapes that we aren’t familiar with but it can also help others better “know” where Christ is going in their inward lives (John 3:30 -> John 17:21).
John 6:66–67 NKJV – do we want to move away from Christ, spiritually? That will cause others to “go away”
Job 1:8 – look at what got God’s attention
Joshua 11:6 – “by this time tomorrow I will” – this can be good and/or bad
Joshua 14:10-12 – ask the Lord to help you -> Eph. 3:21 NIV
Psalm 84:5 – one of my dreams is that everyone in churches, would set, discover, cooperate, and in His strength carry out God’s will for them (Eph. 6:10). We in Christ would be a nightmare to Demonic Forces *laughs hysterically exposing gums + teeth, while playing a Celtic accordion with lightning flashing outside the windows*
Psalm 73:26 + John 3:30 – the more that the Holy Spirit lessens our sinful tendencies, our old nature way of doing things, through painful pruning circumstances, and we cooperate with His changes; we begin to see the spiritual value of Christ surfacing more into eternal infinity.
Eph. 6:18 NIV -> Joshua 10:8 – we need to be spiritually courageous, we need to trust His plan, we need steadfastness in Him and we can’t afford to be situational with our faith. We are to be people that are vessels that can be very useful to the Lord and “for all the Lord’s people.”
Joshua 10:10 NIV + Phil. 3:15 NIV – God will sometimes reveal to us the colossal magnitude of how disturbed and confused our mindsets operate, as to how much we “think differently” and clearly show us that at “some point”, we neglected Phil. 4:9 NIV. I’ll end this point with Phil. 3:16 KJV.
Joshua 10:42 – it has been quite the spiritual campaign, hasn’t it? Do you reckon that this is a year in human history that was marked on God’s eternal calendar? Too perfectly calculated? It’s not something just accidentally stumbled upon? A very dazzling and unique year?
(Joshua 5:2-3 + Mark 4:39, Matthew 10:39, [Mark 1:12]) = John 6:63: the way God selects circumstances that are painful but a necessary spiritual pruning item for us to grow spiritually. Yes, I have cried many times; yes, I use to own a Hello Kitty diary, and yes I use to journalize with tears but the Lord was able to help others through humbling me down. I cried more than watching Dawson’s Creek.
Joshua 5:4 – I want us to understand this, there aren’t a lot of people willing to fight the good fight of faith. I wonder why this verse Matthew 5:11, exists.
Joshua 5:7 NIV – “were still” – that grief tone
Joshua 5:13-15 NIV – at times, we aren’t sure if God is opposing us, when really He’s trying to spiritually change us, He makes these commanding decisions, sometimes, we understand what He was doing, afterward, the point He was getting at, about ourselves that required His transformative powers, so that we can continue standing firmer in His strength. I do believe that God will reiterate what we prayed about, what we sang about, and what we told Him, when we were suggesting His will or more of Christ in our lives, so He will remind us of what we verbalized = outworking Matthew 7:8 + Mark 1:42.
Mark 3:23 NIV – a bit of His sense of humour – ‘what kind of theology are you talking about?’
Matthew 4:19 KJV – “Follow me” -> “I will make you”
John 17:11 NIV – cool way of addressing: “Holy Father”
Matthew 2:13 – there is something interesting about this, a form of communication that was tailored to Joseph, in a way that would get His attention. God does that with us, He knows how to get our attention and steer us into a holier path.
Matthew 6:13 NIV – instructing something like this, shows a threat to how divisive temptations + the Adversary and His Hosts can be for ourselves and the ministries we embark upon.
Mark 6:56 NIV – when people do the opposite and make the abundant life of Christ scarce, so that others can barely reach Him = scary
Mark 11:2 – Jesus can see ahead: His decisions for us, end-up better than we imagined, if we follow-through (1 Cor. 2:9)
Luke 5:8 – when people experience the livingness of Christ, they realize their inward conditions and at times, they just want to hide
Luke 10:42 – is your decision Spirit-led? (Zech. 4:6)
Luke 22:67 – why argue with Jesus?
John 6:67 – the Holy Spirit does sometimes make it “seem” like He is pushing us away, and that it “looks like” He is far away and unconcerned but He is also seeing if you are actually interested in His matters (Luke 2:49 KJV, John 1:38 NIV, Matthew 6:33).
Matthew 4:16 – the way we communicate, can allow others to see His light and life (John 6:63). When we speak, we need to adjust our ratio of words to a more Christ-focused direction (Prov. 18:21 -> Gal. 5:25 NIV -> Prov. 3:6 -> Gen. 9:7 KJV -> John 10:10 KJV).
Mark 1:45 NIV – Satan is trying to mute us from talking about the Bible
Mark 6:12 NIV – we must practice this
John 18:37 – interesting….
Luke 24:51 NIV – spiritual continuity
Luke 7:13 – if you have taught children ministry, and hear stories about them having a bad day, stuff like that, they like stickers.
Mark 5:30 – will you say something deep within yourself that moves Jesus?
Mark 3:5 – let’s not grief Jesus
Matthew 20:28 – helping God’s people is a pretty amazing time, seeing His people spiritually-fed and happy. Then those people become more equipped to spiritually feed others, I already see that happening. It’s so beautiful
Matthew 3:15 – “let it be” “it is proper for us”, a different way of seeing this verse would be -> it’s suitable for us to let Christ express Himself, greater in our lives
Matthew 9:28 NIV – when we find ourselves doubting, if Christ is able to do things.
Matthew 24:42 – take ministries, seriously
Mark 2:4 – find ways for people to discover Jesus, that they would be interested in. For example: I offered my friend goji berries, if he read some of the Bible, and he did; he was vehemently against it before.
Luke 14:27 – if you are serious about this, if we ask God to test us or we pray for Him to do His will in our life, it’s going to be incredibly painful and break us into pieces but His life increases more in our lives, if we cooperate with Him. He will use all sorts of ways to accomplish that. I’ve been shredded to ribbons, repeatedly, by the Holy Spirit. So verses that I cling to, are familiar from personal experience.
John 4:14 – Christ satisfies me.
1 Peter 5:8 -> James 4:7 -> Daniel 1:8 -> Daniel 6:22 – I was looking at the painting, “Daniel in the Lion’s Den” by Briton Rivière. Those verses came to mind.
Matthew 6:20 – do you treasure what Heaven treasures?
Matthew 7:7 – what do you want to find? What do you want people that you interact with to “find”
Matthew 12:36 – do we mean what we say about our faith and what we preach? Do we put God’s Word into action? Is there a measure of Christ added?
Matthew 26:52 – this verse comes to mind -> James 1:20
Mark 6:50 – a life with the Lord and standing up for what His Word says, requires courage, are you afraid?
Matthew 11:6 – don’t be offended, when the Holy Spirit uses His processes of transitioning us into a more holier life
John 6:21 NIV “they were willing” – the power of Christ, as a determining variable to the other half of the verse
Luke 6:17 NIV – explain things that people can understand. I’m starting to use a lot of examples. This can be an outlet for the verse Matthew 7:8 NIV + (Jonah 4:4 -> 1 Peter 3:15 NIV) = John 14:1
Matthew 6:33 + John 18:36 = interesting?
Luke 8:39 – we have a testimony with Christ, that we can talk about
Luke 2:20 – the Holy Spirit is such an encouragement, He does encourage us, doesn’t He? I see so much inward gladness. What a beautiful gift He is.
Mark 3:4 – a throwback of Adam and Eve and their decision-making
Matthew 9:22 – the inward strength in Christ is a determining component
Mark 8:4 – the Bible illustrates countless impossible situations made possible by God/Christ/The Holy Spirit.
Matthew 17:5 – “listen to Him!” -> John 10:27
John 3:1, 12:46 – there’s something about Jesus, that draws a lot of wonder and intrigue. A Divine Nature, indeed. An ancient allure (John 8:58)
John 9:1-41 NIV, Proverbs 27:19 ESV and James 1:22-24 NLT – in the John story, the Pool of Siloam contains water, water mirrors reflections of ourselves, generally. There are things that we don’t see within ourselves and about us, so when He is working on us, we can’t see what all of His current changes are at the moment. This isn’t just physical seeing, the point is spiritual areas that we are also blind to that requires us to work with the Lord upon. In verse 33 – you see how real Jesus is? He does show us, doesn’t He?
Psalm 65:7 ESV “the tumult of the people”, 2 Chronicles 20:17 KJV “set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you”, Isaiah 43:16 “a path in the mighty waters”, Isaiah 55:8-9, Luke 8:22-26 “Where is your faith?” – the Bible is written in a way where we are suppose to invite Christ before proceeding (to see where He leads) and not leave Him out (Luke 24:45): “the disciples went and woke Him” (John 1:14), otherwise, we won’t get much out of that with our own intellects (John 6:63). Our interactions with Christ and our decision-makings that brought us to circumstances (“where is your faith?”) can be illustrated in the story of Luke, when we don’t yield the situation to Christ, until we finally do, and we realize how scary things + our own pathways can be, apart from Him. God will continually work on renewing our own mindsets with many verses like Matt. 6:33, to knock us out of this circuitry of our old nature way of thinking that constantly brings about the demonstration of faithlessness in the power of Christ. We are inwardly faced with the anecdote ‘are you done going your way? You have seen your own ways?’ -> “Where is your faith?” With God, it really is time to shift our old nature toward the spiritual likeness of Christ (Job 38:11), for Him to continually “still” our proud old nature: through repentance and asking the Holy Spirit to change us, in areas where He convicts us + additional reading of scriptures that He identifies for us to work on. What path are you on that’s causing these outward and inward storms? Let Christ take the actions in our lives. I’ll end this with John 11:4.
Matthew 1:24 – that’s one way to do that
Mark 3:9 – we can say a lot of things but they can mean nothing (Matthew 6:7). We can outwardly “look” like but inwardly we are untransformed, the point is, we can be like many crowds of Christians that aren’t intentional or could care less about their spiritual life with Christ or other people’s spiritual growth through their ministries/potential ministries, and are just part of the “crowd” on Sundays (1 Samuel 16:7 + John 4:24). Extra point: we have to be willing to draw closer to Him. He can come to us but we can also be serious about moving toward Him, even if He seems a little faraway.
John 4:50 – trusting what the Bible asserts, while cooperating with the Holy Spirit with changes in our life
Mark 2:12 – I do discern that many Christians have more spiritual movements
Mark 4:33 – what you see, every day, can be a parable that the Holy Spirit is willing to explain to you the spiritual meaning behind that moment.
John 4:48 – there are plenty of matters to spiritually discover, rather than the outward concerns we ask for
Matt. 1:20 – the way the Lord communicates can include imageries and matters worth reflecting about
Mark 2:3 – avoid being the cause of spiritual paralysis
Luke 4:4 – the time you spend physically eating, can be a minimal amount of time spent in the Word
Mark 9:24 – a prayer for our time, as many times, especially when there’s doubt
Neh. 10:28 – “all who separated themselves from the neighbouring peoples” “for the sake of the Law of God” “together” “who are able to understand” – the difference ought to be a compelling witness that spiritually speaks for itself, even without our physical words, the Spirit can communicate His presence (Matt. 18:20). If you look at the Old Testament, God does compel people inwardly to arrive to situations (Matt. 11:15). We need to spend more time with the unsaid words in our day, focus on inward listening to the meaning (James 1:19 + 1 John 2:27).
Neh. 8:1 – sounds like John 17 and Ephesians. What a beautiful verse this is, can you imagine people expressing enthusiasm for more of God’s Word to be taught, that anticipation.
Neh. 8:3 – “attentively” – I use to listen to the Bible on an mp3 player, and also in my car. Although that might explain why some people ducked; each word of the Bible is very interesting. The Book of Leviticus suggesting balance, among other things, very fascinating.
Neh. 8:5-6 and Deut. 8:11 – God’s Word needs to be treated with more inward respect. This requires daily prayer. Otherwise, we can live a very hollow (non-spiritual) Christian life that is no different than the world, if not worse.
Neh. 8:10 – “to those who have nothing” – I remember a student of mine from children ministry, his dad couldn’t afford a whole Bible but only part of it, the New Testament. So the student felt embarrassed and cried. I met his dad and got him a Bible because I felt that there is a boundlessness to verses and God’s Word, it’s literally a gift that will keep on giving (Psalm 119:96 NIV).
Neh. 9:1-3 – very good verses for all of us. Worship and repentance combined to a schedule is a force to be reckoned with. There is a lot of power here. When I read the word ancestors, there are two things here: a) that we need to reflect upon repentance within our lifetime; for example, if I reflect on an unlearned spiritual lesson a couple of years ago, repent from that sin -that hasn’t been removed from my current behaviour, that’s a good thing (Lam. 3:40); and b) when we repent + change from our unfruitful and unbiblical ways, proactively transitioning toward the spiritual stature of Christ, with the Holy Spirit; it can impact generations to come, there is an eternal sacred power there, causing a ripple effect that changes the future course of history.
Neh. 9:4 – I use to stand on the stairs with my sister and break-out singing, as if the stairs were raisers that people stand on, from an elementary school singing event. My dad would yell, cause he finished a shift from work and was trying to sleep. Singing worship songs is fun outside of church, also.
Neh. 9:6 – if you ask the Lord to “give life to everything”, as a precursor for ministry and wait for Him to help you proceed in step with Him, it is worth doing.
Neh. 9:8 – we can all work on this daily, the Lord knows what our hearts really look like, improving in our faithfulness to His Word, His people, to His cause, to put the best spiritual step forward for present and future generations can dramatically change the spiritual landscape, as seen with Hebrews 11.
Luke 6:45 and Neh. 9:11 – avoid pursuing with bad intentions, especially repeatedly and unrepentantly. Don’t intentionally leave sins uncorrected because of self-interests. I’ll end here with a very serious verse James 3:1 that people often ignore in practice: holding themselves to a stricter standard. If God inwardly shares parts of the Parable of the Tares AND Matthew 7:21-23; I would take that with deep seriousness.
Neh. 9:13 – “that are good” – living the lifestyle of scriptures is suitable to who we are. Practicing worldliness is a different ecosystem for us, we get side effects and negativeness from that.
Neh. 9:19 – “did not fail to guide them” “to shine on the way they were to take”
Neh. 9:20 – “you gave your good Spirit to instruct them” “you did not withhold”
Neh. 9:25 – we have so many things, it’s like we opened many Christmas presents, if you think about it.
Neh. 9:26 – parts of this is past tense?
Neh 9:28-29 – routine, as many times as possible, repentance is important. Otherwise, matters can proceed from Hot -> Lukewarm -> Cold. This is a vital lesson sprinkled, all throughout scriptures.
Neh. 9:30,34-35 – when administrations intentionally delays the fruitfulness of their congregations, by preventing repentance + other spiritual progresses from occurring, impairing ministries in the present and in the future tenses; that is a nightmarish level of scary, when God calls us to account, one day. We need to take God’s Word with Holy regard.
Neh. 6:1 – what are the gaps that the Lord has identified with you? Keep asking for God’s input.
Neh. 6:8-9 – behind a lot of the negative charades in your mind, it has a lot to do with Satan trying to weaken your morale for the interests of Jesus. For example: ending up arguing with Christ, is something that Satan likes to get people to do. Another example: repeating things that are contrary to what the Bible says and getting you to believe it. For me something that I don’t like, is when I read mystery magazines, and Satan provides character sketches that I didn’t ask for.
Neh. 6:2b,10,13 – a church shouldn’t be an arena, where Christians harmfully scheme against each other. We have to shut the door to all that filth, from entering in. I’ll end here with James 1:15. Enforce what is preached.
Neh. 7:5 – be more aware of this, what God puts into your heart to do
Neh. 5:2-3 – motivate as many as possible in reading the Word.
Neh. 5:16 – “I devoted myself” – it’s a choice
Neh. 5:18 – keep in mind that people work hard to give over their tithe money, make sure that the money is used in a way that honours God. This requires further prayer, regularly.
Neh. 5:19 – a good self-reflection, how would you be remembered, by God?
Neh. 1:2 – we have to make sure with the Holy Spirit’s leadings that people who do not yet know the Lord and God considers us responsible for them, spiritually survives. That we minister life to them with Christ; ensuring that they aren’t exiled from Heaven.
Neh. 1:3 – if you see people who are troublemakers to God’s purpose and plan for the church and they are breaking down the Body of Christ with sins, you must report the matter to the Lord, and ask for His empowered decree to spiritually combat that. If the Lord enables you to address that, it doesn’t matter how many stand in your way.
Neh. 1:4 – when God’s people go through tough times and Satan is attacking them constantly, you can’t help but spiritually feel that amount of pain, the heart-felt sorrow is real in this verse.
Neh. 1:5-7 – his prayer shows how he is aligned with God and wanting the Lord’s righteousness upon people, if you listen to how he talks -> James 5:16 NKJV. Nehemiah is hot for God, not lukewarm.
Neh. 1:8-11 – if you go into spiritual warfare; this is a very powerful way of praying, a very good approach for the Lord to sharpen your spiritual condition. Depending on how serious the battle is, I’ll personalize multiple scriptures in a sentence, like my ice cream machine section; it is a way of continuously focusing and refocusing your mindset to finish whatever course that is with the Lord because it’s going to be extremely negatively toxic to take down Demonic Forces. Succeeding with the Lord on the matter, people can spiritually discern the end to a lot of unspiritual tyranny that has gripped the landscape.
Neh. 2:4 – do you want, what God wants?
Psalm 33:11 NIV and Neh. 2:5 – caring about the building-up of the church, generationally, is a mindset of God.
Neh. 2:13 – when people are rattled, spiritual discernment works better in approaching the building-up of the Body of Christ.
Neh. 2:18 – “Let us start rebuilding.” -> Phil. 1:6 comes to mind.
1 John 4:11 – let’s make sure that we take the Bible more seriously. Matthew 25:14-29 NIV – the Parable of the [Bags of Gold (Talents)] story – the way I see that, choose your own character, which one do you want to be? I think one of the hidden meanings behind that Parable is that the Holy Spirit knew that lots of people who read that wouldn’t give that segment of the Gospels, proper “weight”, in value, for their life choices.
Psalm 34:14 NIV – it’s a spiritual principle, the Lord will convince people of this, if they pray for more spiritual illumination about this verse
James 4:10 NIV – what about the reverse?
Hebrews 12:1 NIV – “let us throw off everything that hinders” -more of this
1 Cor. 10:31 NIV – “do it all for the glory of God”
Romans 12:2 – God gives us a lot of time and space to make decisions, will you renew that sinful practice? Or turn to holiness with His help, instead?
1 John 4:4 and John 3:30 – outworking of the Holy Spirit in our inward lives
Matt. 4:4 – ‘low spiritual blood sugar? You see how challenging living can be, apart from a proper consumption of the Bible?’
Matt. 26:41 – do you know, where you have fallen? Ask His help with this -> Psalm 40:2. For example: if you grudge against someone; today and going forward, we can keep praying till that is erased.
Luke 11:28 – let’s read the Bible and work on obeying God’s Word
Luke 19:10 – go with the King
2 Cor. 9:8 – believe, He can, He is able but focus on the inward
Phil. 3:8 – a gradual outworking of the Holy Spirit
Mark 4:39 – that verse “be still and know that I am God” comes to mind
Mark 8:29 – ‘what’s your interpretation of me? I’ll show you what I really am about, through a spiritual syllabus that I have planned for your path’
Luke 1:45 – wow
Luke 6:45 – listen very carefully to what you are saying to God. It reveals a lot about yourself and your spiritual condition. That’s important, prayer time can be a mirror that reveals what we can fix up with the Holy Spirit.
Acts 18:9 – when people try and oppose you, for speaking God’s Word. Remind yourself. Especially in a church setting. You have to spiritually fight down the high places where demonic activities are hidden and to cast that out with Christ.
Phil. 2:15 NIV – very interesting, the last sentence, I’m a star
Hebrews 12:1 NIV – persevere for Him. You think I am discouraged when Satan calls me the Karate kid? Or calls me fat?
Mark 9:35 – I am fine with placing my life priorities last for Christ and His people.
Luke 5:31 – if you see people who have spiritual maladies like recurring sins in their lives. Show them Christ in prayer. This needs to be practiced more regularly, prune off the unholiness with Christ that leads to a fruitful life and strengthened ministries.
John 15:5 – what happened when we follow non-Christian advice and we don’t involve Christ? This verse is a stark spiritual reality. Generally speaking.
Romans 2:11 – let’s avoid playing favourites. Also, avoid preferential treatment, look at things with spiritual balances.
Mark 7:37 – pretty cool grade “He has done everything well”. We as Christians, shouldn’t deafen people from hearing God’s Word, by causing others to look at the outward, rather than what’s really going on in the inward. In addition, we ought not to attempt to mute people or shun them, when they speak up for God’s Word, especially in churches.
Matt. 26:53 NIV – I have seen a lot in my life
Luke 2:11 – “today in the town of” (your neighbourhood), with Christ, you can help people be born again!
Gal. 6:2 NIV – we can work on this
Luke 6:27 NIV – “who are listening”
Gen. 2:16-17 NKJV and 1 Thess. 2:18 NIV – if you think about Adam and Eve, after talking to God; Adam and Eve did a James 1:22-25. Then what happens? They are obstructed by Satan, and they are led to something ungodly. When we engage in ministries, looking at some of the mechanics of Satan, there is always a readiness to prevent real Spirit-led movements, from occurring; glancing at the amount of times we see the visibility of Eph. 2:2, 6:12 in attempting to stop Jesus, in the Gospels, in as many varied ways, as possible. People will look at Adam and Eve, assuming that they aren’t smart or made an error, there is something deeper there that is worth further exploration: the long-term negative generational impacts -> something that Satan is mindful of (Mark 15:30). Satan hit down Adam and Eve, tried to knock Jesus and Paul out of the picture. A question to “reflect” upon with the Holy Spirit – to make sure that our choices conform to who Christ is and what Christ is about: is Satan persuading you to pursue a path that doesn’t build-up the Body of Christ? With Matt. 7:13-14 – “leads to life”, temptations are everywhere, even embedded into our subconscious determinations for the choices we make, and it’s common for the majority of the world to oppose the Holy Spirit’s work. So “let us keep in step with the Spirit” (Gal. 5:25b NIV) in that narrow path, and putting Jesus/God/the Holy Spirit first (Matt. 6:33)! Are we turning up the spiritual fervour heat from lukewarm to hot? Let’s keep going with that!
Numbers 15:40 ESV – I can feel the spiritual pulse of His heart, in this verse
Exodus 28:36 NKJV – “holiness” “to” “the Lord”
Joshua 3:5 ESV and Eph. 1:18 – don’t look at tomorrow with just your outward eyes but use your spiritual sight with the Lord and keep asking from Him to remove blindspots. For example, treating “tomorrow” as just another day, isn’t spiritual vigilance. It’s a gigantic cataract blindspot. Look at the Parables, a bunch of people were clocking out their time like there’s no tomorrow.
2 Chr. 6:26 – it’s important to understand, why God withholds things. Then read verse 27. Also, a repeated lesson here 2 Chr. 7:13-14
2 Chr. 30:9 – interesting
Gen. 1:2 – when our inward situation isn’t in the right trajectory for our time on earth, God intercedes with generations, in mind.
1 Thess. 1:3 – “inspired by hope”
Isaiah 48:11 – if you ever want to see your employment boss, squint their face, as hard as they can, as a reaction. Tell them, why you are taking time off work, in my shoes. On the other hand, when I share with my mom, the reason why I have to miss work, her unsurprised face displays years of knowledge, understanding how serious I am, when I want to fight for the rights of Christ. It’s a very lonely journey with Christ + God + the Holy Spirit and my swords (I have lots of Bibles), even with so many Christians out there, often times, you aren’t with a band of people; they scatter like in John 16:32. Though unity and being unified sounds great that isn’t the Holy picture that it ought to be in our time but we can work on that spiritual formation. For His sake. I enjoy fighting for His Kingdom, it is a spiritual poetic romance to me. I remember the times with my spiritual discernment friends, a long time ago; for fun, we would practice discerning what book of the Bible the sermon was on before it was spoken about, it took a longer time to narrow down the chapters but all things considered, it would take under 20 minutes.
Rev. 19:16 – cool embossing
Gen. 2:9-10 and Psalms 1:1-3 – when I was in Sunday School, my teacher gave us each a plant, there was one week, where I left the plant at church and forgot to bring it home. It was so dried out from the sun but when I saw the plant, I watered it. The plant still grew, programmed by its original design, the way it was suppose to with water; botanically encoded to survive those situations. The spiritual counterpart: I like how the living waters from Christ, still continues, and how living these waters are, there are so many unique spiritual properties to them (Ezekiel 47:9 + Matt. 4:19). Coming across something like this, can alter the ending of otherwise spiritual death; in the present and future tense on a massive scale because of the sheer power of Christ Himself. We might look back and still wonder, what the full spiritual effects are.
Acts 5:34-39 – worth thinking over
1 Thess. 5:5 – what stands out to me: differentiating between holiness and sinful practices, the desperate need for spiritual clarity.
Matt. 18:20 and Eph. 2:21-22 – if you think of ministry like this, we have to make sure the situation in these verses occurs, we have to make that happen with the Lord. Not only bringing people to Christ and helping them grow in the spiritual likeness of Jesus within this generation but all the ones going forward, with our multiplication of talents (John 17:22-23 NKJV “they” is plural, it doesn’t just mean our present age, with God’s eternal mindset).
Proverbs 3:5-6 and Joshua 1:8 – “In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths” – when we pursue a path, where we are self-centred and not Christ-centred, we can direct our own path, instead (Deut. 5:29).
Luke 24:32 – this verse is a spiritual reality that can be felt. Have you experienced this inward event, so far on this site while I whisk food with Christ? You see what they are talking about now? When the Lord is expressing Himself in a ministry; our spiritual awareness knows Him (John 10:27) and that verse is spiritually tangible, as it turns out. We read that Luke verse so many times on the outside looking in but now we can see this from the inside.
Gen. 22:2 – God knows what we love, what we desire, what we want, etc.; He will see, if He can re-arrange those things into this -> Matt. 6:33 and Matt. 6:10 (NIV)
1 Samuel 17:50 – fighting Evil Forces seems daunting but it isn’t, we have more than enough spiritual resources that the Lord has and will give us, to succeed; a question we can ask ourselves is, whether we are willing (Matt. 26:41 NKJV).
Numbers 13:30 – I do discern that some people are jaded with God that things aren’t going how they want them to be, and consequently, they don’t have that spiritual fighting vigor for His Name
1 Samuel 2:35 – that entire sentence
Exodus 19:5-6 – if God is working us toward that let us work with Him, toward that in our area of influence
Deut. 32:18 NKJV – cool
Rev. 19:13 NKJV – cool verse, very neat
Proverbs 4:20-22 – let’s partner with the Lord with this verse upon church members -> John 1:3 -> John 6:63 -> Jer. 1:12 -> Eph. 2:10
Psalm 119:130 NKJV – this translation sounds neat, the first sentence
Neh. 8:8 – I like this verse, churches can be like this but there needs to be a deep desire for administrations, to want to see God’s people, spend more time in the Word, for the training of righteousness
Gen. 1:3 – we can outwork that same line in people’s inward lives, with God
John 14:23 – nice thought
Luke 24:15 – “drew near and went with them” – sometimes, we are so disappointed and over-griefed (I’m not talking about Christians persecuting each other on purpose), that we forget that the Lord is with us in our moments, our emotions sways our mindsets but He is there.
Psalm 73:28 – one of the most practical applications to feel the Lord’s inward nearness. For example, I keep reading the Word to whisk spiritual food for His people, since it is for His people, and for spiritual fruitfulness -> you can feel that inward drawing close of the Lord, in these spiritual food preps that I am experiencing, also (James 4:8 and 2 Cor. 6:1 – “workers together with Him”).
Joshua 1:5 NKJV – just an overall good feeling about this verse
Exodus 13:21 – do you know, where He is headed, with the way He leads us?
Gen. 28:16 – “I did not know it” – we often pray for things, ask for stuff from the Lord but we need spiritual recognition for when He answers.
Gal. 5:22-23 – the Fruit of the Spirit (fruitfulness) <- Christlikeness
Acts 2:44 – make sure we aren’t making ourselves in the world, more in common, than having Christ in common
Zech 13:1 – when we come across Christlike characters, being in the presence of Christ within them, will convict us of our past sins and cleanse us from recurrence + increase our spiritual activity with the Holy Spirit.
Matt. 26:39 – 99% of the time, in our mindsets and actions, it is “my will, not your will.” Then we are like, ‘why is this place so messed up?’
Gen. 22:5 – ‘I got to go with my boy somewhere, and go to a worship event, but we’ll be right back.’

Gen. 1:31 – “God saw everything”
Psalm 72:19 – “let the whole earth be filled with His glory.” – the word let, stands out to me
Isaiah 45:23 – God teaches us to revere Him
Isaiah 66:1 – have you seen His footsteps in your life?
John 12:32 (NKJV) – “if I am lifted up” “-> “draw all peoples to Myself”
1 Cor. 15:24-28 – read that slowly, what stands out?
Eph. 1:9-10 – let’s gather with Him, not scatter
Isaiah 55:1 – this verse comes to mind -> James 3:11-12
Ezekiel 47:9 – Go with Him, wherever He goes
Acts 2:42 – we must make sure of this for congregations. Open up permanent time slots and meeting times at church or other places outdoors, for people to come in and read the Bible and have food together, much like the prayer room time slots. We can’t deviate from this verse. We ought to continue steadfastly.
2 Cor. 13:14 – reading this verse, makes me feel like I just ate the best food on earth.
Phil. 1:21 – when I dwell upon Jesus, it touches upon my emotions about what this life is about

Col. 1:9-10 – “His will”
Hab. 2:1 – worth considering
John 14:21 – something that can be a present day reality. Let’s come alive to this. Even having a few people like this gathered in His Name can make a huge spiritual ripple effect. That last sentence is pretty serious
John 1:14 – beholding his glory, makes me awestruck in who He is
Matt. 16:16-17 – there is a livingness, when more of Christ is unveiled. Just as the Bible says so. It is so.
Isaiah 6:5 – taking what we say seriously and the decisions we make: is that good or bad for God’s people?
Psalm 36:9 (ESV) – very interesting
Numbers 24:4 – interesting
Luke 4:18 – the anointing can accomplish above the imagination level kind of powers
1 Samuel 6:13 – the ESV version is an interesting take… every word and symbols
Exodus 3:8 – let yourself experience the goodness of Christ, don’t rebel, just yield.
1 Kings 8:27 – give Christ more freedom and liberty in our life choices. We occupy so much of what ought to be His areas to maneuver in vast ways.
Acts 2:33-36 – “God has made this Jesus” – sounds like using air quotes
Isaiah 6:1 – the sequence: death, life, people
Matt. 11:25 – ask the Lord what the Bible passages mean -> Luke 24:45
Matt. 6:33 (KJV) and James 4:8 (KJV) – worth thinking about, a dual-perspective
Isa. 43:19 – “behold” “spring forth” “shall ye not know it?” – finding extremely rare organic spiritual movements from the Lord; if found, people will congregate around the outpouring of His life (Exodus 17:6, John 10:10). They will become obsessed over Him, more and more. They know this is a real life, they know it in their inward life that something of the Lord touched them. They almost can’t believe they found this “springing forth” kind-of-reaction. The vitality of Christ that the scriptures was referring to in the life-giving waters turned out to be real, after all; that Christians who for so long were in a state of inward desertification, have unexplainably felt Christ. We are suppose to be vessels to spring forth His Divine life to others. That is an objective of a real ministry, the way Jesus walked in the Spirit (Gal. 5:25 NIV). A dash of Matt. 24:45-46.
Ex. 15:2 – it is the outworking of the Holy Spirit, when we “realize” the strength of Christ to conduct our everyday life, where for a long time, it was our own strength and things didn’t turn out the way He wanted. So He kept weakening us to give us a spiritual impulse to go with the path of His strength. John 14:20 (NIV) – “you will realize”
2 Cor. 3:17-18 – you see people being freed from the captivity of sin? Keep giving the Lord more freedom, by practicing His Word.
2 Cor. 10:5 – finishing a service or a gathering from a living church in Christ; somehow, we notice evil areas in our lives are erased more and more (Exodus 29:43 NKJV).
Gal. 2:20 (KJV) – let Him live the Way He Wants to in our life, stop impeding Him.
2 Cor. 5:7 and Eph. 1:18 – Jesus says and does a lot of unpopular things that we humans don’t like but we need to pay attention, when something like that happens, the Pharisees didn’t take that seriously, they just saw it as a normal occurrence. To further this spiritual point, using something that came to mind, as the Final Destination 2 (2003) movie puts it, an “in-your-face kind of irony.” You can’t let those spiritual situations just pass-by, it is something extremely rare and unique that characterizes Jesus in the gospels. So if something or someone is advocating change, ask yourself, why? What is seen that is currently unseen, years later (2 Cor. 4:18)? Like a time traveller from the future, epochally changing the events of eternal history because he or she saw something. The Pharisees missed that.
Hebrews 3:6 – He has unique missions for all of us to display opportunities of His faithfulness to everyone. There are people who I have met in life, that barely survived Satan’s attacks and manipulations, through God’s use of my very simple obedience to carry out His particular governing objective(s) at a given season (1 Samuel 15:22 and Romans 12:1). Let’s not be picky, just obey what He wants us to do because if we are too selective, it can offset the spiritual course of a specific direction He wants to take for something or someone. The point is that God calls us with a purpose, He has others in mind that are faced with tough situations, and we have to be His actions that derive -> Psalm 18:16-19 (KJV)
Gen. 22:17-18 – “you have obeyed My voice” – we can spiritually impact the cultivation of the seeds that Christ sows. We have that power in Him within our grasp, to put our hands to the spiritual plough and farm. You get to experience His joy unspeakable, everyday, doing that.
