ASV: Psalm 20:7, Matt. 5:6, 6:21, 1 Peter 2:7, Mal. 3:3 – I was eating cereal, as my sister glued her face against the dining window, from the outside. I shifted my pupils gradually to her, like one of those cat clocks with moving eyes. She later disappeared into the morning distance, undisturbed by the slopes. Discovering the heightened intensity of clarity and focus upon recognizing the preciousness of Christ is a Divine outworking of our changing landscape of values (Heb. 3:6, Col. 3:2, Phil. 3:8, 2 Cor. 3:18, Phil. 1:21, Heb. 12:2). What else could actually produce that? The Lord seeing degrees of His reflection in our inward lives, from all that purifying work, also shows you, how much He treasures the Christlikeness in us.
ASV: 1 Kings 17:16 – that day felt like the sun was stretching all of a sudden, my mom walked in, asking me to try different menu items of food that she was preparing for the church retreat, the aroma of something baking with too many raisins obscured my agenda. I went to my sister’s room, where her hair endured emotional distress, from finding the right outfits, as though a carriage would depart, by nightfall without one. At the retreat, the quiet rainfall, as I looked up, I gathered to understand, the quietness about them. Spiritual point: how do you see food, “what if” we were suppose to see food, as a provision to proceed with the good work of the Lord (John 4:34)? Make use of your physical food into God’s work (Job 23:12 ASV). I’ll end with 1 Kings 19:7-8 and 1 Cor. 10:31.
ASV: Daniel 11:32, Amos 5:14, Ex. 19:4, Zech. 4:6b, Heb. 12:10 “that we might be partakers of his holiness” – my sister was singing in her room, and I began to blink rapidly because I felt eerie. I was enjoying the night time breeze through a windowsill, while looking at a spray paint of white stars, upon the dissolving evening skies and the slow moving branches. I still remember the air of wet leaves. She opened my door, with an immovable smile for several seconds. She had spent most of the previous night, trying to figure out a magic trick, that she saw on tv, where someone predicted the number on a screen, that my sister was thinking. Under a lanternlight, she began her legerdemain, I acted transfixed while randomly caterwauling, in her prestidigitation. The hardwood floors that we sat on, worn out, from years of these gentle soundscape laughters. In the Bible, with the focus upon “how” God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit draws people to Himself, into a closer fellowship is worth examining, and the Christlike strengthening aspects that follow. Sometimes, in life, we can see things, as all has gone wrong; that this whole scenario is a mistake but you never know. This might be a grander blessing than you realize. An opportunity to further partake in a closer relationship, with Holiness Himself (John 6:44, Hosea 11:4, 1 Cor. 1:9, Gen. 50:20, Col. 1:11). We need to be open to the idea that the Lord does appoint circumstances, to compel us to Him, that there is something going on above (Psalm 105:16, Phil. 1:29, Col. 3:2). I’ll end with “Jehovah went” – Ex. 13:21 + 2 Cor. 13:14.
ASV: 1 Cor. 5:8, Luke 24:25, Heb. 3:12 – that day was ablaze with the cosy feeling of finding a rare item in a bazaar, my friend and I were exploring some expo, where a lady offered advice, using numbers. This appeared to be some interest of hers with mathematics, teaching us the bravery of change or some moral to a story. My forehead was bedraggled from lifting my eyebrows for a prolong period, while my friend was awhirl with questions for the lady. I could tell that the lady was trying to read my friend, to beseech him with some critical insight into their azoic worldviews, expressed through shared conspiracy theories of where the world was headed. Afterward, I told him that his interests betokened a failure in the provincial education system. Now, let’s use our magnifying glass, and look at some parts that we struggle with, perhaps, some unbeliefs that you might have. Since the Bible is sincere + truthful. I need you to ask the Lord to pull down the strongholds of your current lists of unbeliefs (2 Cor. 10:4, Eph. 6:18). There is more tenacity here with praying about addressing unbeliefs, in furthering the gospel, with regularly asking the Lord to prevail in what we see as softened places of beliefs about the Bible, that turn out to be hard as stone, in unbeliefs, where Satan continues to afflict us, in those places of distrust in the Word, that leads to a lower Christlike Livingness to serving other members in the Body of Christ (Heb. 4:2, 2 Thess. 3:3). I have been discerning that doubting in God’s Word is an uprising problem, where people believe a few things but not other verses.
ASV: Matt. 6:11, John 6:26, 20:14 – my uncle use to have his computer towers uncased, and one day, I was having difficulty with my cousin, trying to beat a video game, so I put a game cartridge into one of the motherboard slots, in an attempt to use his computer to make the level more easier. When he had turned on his computer, he noticed decorated fonts indicating language that something had died on his computer. My cousin told me the incident and while he was waiting for parts to arrive to get his machine working again, he became acquainted with people. We went to a birthday party, where the owner owned a buffet, and asked my uncle to fix something with their machines. Subsequently, he discovered the flexibility of his imagination to solve other matters. It is important to discern Christ embedded in situations, and not take the circumstance, as just another day because you might not get a specific chance, again. In Psalm 139:1-2, imagine zooming in and zooming out, close up and of distance. Sometimes, our self-trusted perceptions eliminates what is right in front of us, while anticipating something else (Luke 24:21 KJV). I need you to ask the Lord about what He has placed right in front of you, the people and situations, in your life + what you are suppose to Spirit-led do with His Word because I believe deep down, that can also be seen as a hidden narrative of theirs about Christ and the Bible, “Give us this day our daily bread.” I’ll end with Deut. 8:3, Heb. 11:27
ASV: Heb. 13:21, 1 Samuel 12:24, Romans 7:22, Psalm 119:112 [spicy, not intended to burn] – in elementary school, at the age where expressing feelings for someone was considered normal. My friend reached the apogee of his life, when he organized a wedding ceremony with another girl that was one grade older than him. During recess, under the faint blue clouds, with two trails of leaves, she had wish flower seeds on her hair, and he was apple-cheeked smiling like a kid that we were. Then after a pacified time of silence, we were passionately running around, chasing each other. From an a posteriori viewpoint, the recess supervisor suggested that people who chase each other around, according to psychology, means that they like each other. She said that with a lower note, and black bags under her eyes. There is power, when seeking the Lord for a sincere outcome for His Church, a pursuit by His Spirit, to keep His way and that God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit succeeds (ASV: Phil. 2:20-21, 1 Peter 5:2, 2 Cor. 8:8, Eph. 1:18, 2 Cor. 4:11, Isaiah 26:9, Psalm 119:80). Oh, I still remember my kid friend’s happy face. He was under the impression, that they were actually married. I’ll end with Heb. 4:12 ASV + 1 Thess. 2:13 ASV
ASV: Jer. 9:23-24, 1 Chr. 16:11 – when I was a toddler, my mother took me grocery shopping, and while exiting, we saw a bunch of motorized decals on toy vehicles, in a circuit. Afterward, I got a metal driver licence button, that you can wear on shirts + stuff. One day, I told my dad that I could drive and he suggested that I didn’t have a driver licence, and he spent as long as I could remember over the span of years, laughing on + off about that story, where I showed him my button, to prove him wrong. So who won that narrative? Even though, I was technically right, in the long-run, it was better that I was incorrect, than to operate a vehicle, at that age. With the Bible, why do people say certain things? Why spend their breath, sharing something? What is the underlying situation that led them to not so much reach an ending in the stories but that those matters were said, during those stories? Instead of reaching a specific end-goal of ours, what is the Lord seeking to teach us in this present tense (Hosea 6:3, Phil. 3:7-8,10 Mark 4:26-27, Luke 24:32)? I pray that we can grasp the inward formation steps of what the Lord desires to change specifically about us (John 6:63, Prov. 16:9, 20:24, Eph. 3:16-17, 2 Cor. 13:5, Jer. 20:9, Gal. 5:25) I’ll end with 2 Cor. 12:9
ASV: Romans 6:2, Gen. 18:19, Eph. 4:4, James 3:17, John 10:27, Heb. 5:14 – I was once told a story, about a hunter who hunted a bear, and the bear played dead, only to ironically hunt the hunter. I was thinking to myself, what’s the point of telling me this story? There is too much unspiritual decibels, we see the Adversary and His Hosts communicating, throughout some of the seen and unseen stories, in different forms, and aliasing is bound to occur, as to what is the Lord’s voice. As I am noticing a stronger prayer life and unity with God’s people, let’s also behold the changes that the Lord has also made in us, and help others discover how wonderful a Christian life can be, living in a continual separation of sinful ways, so that we can be people that, by His Spirit reduces that divide that our friends + others experience, with their relationship with Christ (1 Chr. 28:7, Jer. 4:14, John 3:30, Col. 2:2). I’ll end with Ex. 33:11, Psalm 27:4, Acts 4:13
ASV: Psalm 45:1, Isaiah 50:4, Jer. 15:19 – they use to discipline people, for saying inappropriate stuff, with a sort of soap in the mouth. That’s a very wonderful part about the Lord’s responses to us, when we obey Him, changes are also made to our spiritual voice box, in response to others (Deut. 6:6, Josh. 1:8). I’ll end with Psalm 19:14 + Prov. 16:1
ASV: 1 Peter 2:2 + Eze. 3:3 + Psalm 34:8, Luke 6:47, Jer. 3:15, Col. 3:16, Phil. 2:16 – when I use to teach children ministry, I walked into a classroom, and a toddler misunderstood, thinking that I would take her snack bowl, so she moved her food closer to her. When I think about that, I am reminded that people need spiritual food, I hope that you can ask the Lord to help you whisk food with Him, to help others, who need to grow in the likeness of Jesus. I’ll end with 1 Thess. 2:13 and 2 Cor. 2:14
