Eph. 5:10, Col. 2:7, Heb. 12:12, James 3:4, Prov. 16:9 – “Dear Lord, I pray that we can find what pleases you, ignite our hearts and minds to have a passion for you, strengthen us in Christ, and steer us into the right direction, I ask in Jesus name and thank you! Amen”
Jer. 23:29, Prov. 20:24, Psalm 15:2, Heb. 12:2, 1 Cor. 10:13 – let’s say that I am reading the Bible, and the Lord made me realize that I could work on these things, so I would personalize those verses into prayer: “Dear Lord, thank you, continue chiseling my inward life so that I can be holier, through your direction of my steps, I pray that this can be a generation that isn’t afraid to speak your words to edify the church and ministries going forward. Remove temptations every single day and help me be vigilant in praying this, I pray that you perfect the congregational faith in you. All this in your beautiful name, Jesus! amen!”
Luke 7:22, 11:13, 13:24 – “Dear Lord, help us share with others our testimony in Christ, I pray that we can treat people like they are our own children, in a loving way, and that we can make every single effort to follow your leadings while having a willingness to draw close to you! In Jesus name, I thank you, and amen!”
Matthew 7:20, 10:31, 18:14 – “Dear Lord, I pray that you will help us be unafraid for standing up for your Word because your eternal words convey bold inward powers to reshape the destinies of people, and that because of your Life, we can bring people to a change of behaviour that helps them be more recognizable in bearing fruit. Thank you and amen!”
Mark 1:41, 4:34, 7:20, 12:29 – “Dear Lord, let us hear you better, I pray that you can inwardly cleanse others more, by your Spirit, where you can better flow through us to others. I also ask that you can explain things to us because they are too hard for us to understand the full meaning of your Word and what you are doing. I repent for the times my inward wasn’t right toward you, and I pray that your people can have more of a oneness with you! In Jesus beautiful name I ask, amen!”
Exodus 30:30 NIV, Ezekiel 44:15 ESV, Joel 2:22 ESV and Psalm 92:12-14 ESV – “Dear Heavenly Father, your Word reminds us that we ought to serve you, it is truly an honour and a privilege to care for your people, for them to experience your love. I pray that your Word can be a way of communicating what you declare, as a matter of importance from your own heart to make way into our own inward being. Your people require you while we cooperate, to be yielding to your fullness, for maximum spiritual formidable growth and power in our callings, I know you haven’t come here in vain. This is becoming such a beautiful and flourishing landscape right now, too surreal, like the continuation of something Biblical. Let’s remove all blockages and make way for you, oh Lord of Hosts!”
2 Thess. 2:13 NIV and 1 Samuel 3:21 – “Dear Lord, thank you for everything, I pray that the sanctifying work of your Spirit will be so real and life-changing during the day, the night, and while your people sleep. I pray Lord that you can reveal yourself in your Word to people, again and again, as we require your guidance. In your name, I ask, amen!”
Romans 12:2 KJV, Psalm 51:10 and Eph. 3:16 – I’ll show you a spiritual reality, right now. Of course Satan attacks my mind, and I use to pray this ~whenever that would often occur, so sometimes ~30 a day. Pray this + your own way of giving thanks: “Dear Lord, renew my heart and my mind, and strengthen my inner being, I ask in Jesus name.” How do you spiritually feel now?
Matt. 20:26-28 ESV, Acts 6:4 ESV, 1 Tim. 1:12 NIV, John 15:3, Psalm 51:10, Hosea 14:8 NKJV – let’s say these verses are ones that I believe could use some polishing for my ministry, I encourage you to find verse recipes that are tailored to your situation; I would pray like this: “Dear Lord, I understand that serving is important to you, I pray that with more devotion in prayer, and the reading of your Word, along with other important roles such as assembling in fellowships, that I can be more effective in the ministry of the Word. I would also like to ask that I pursue the calling that is according to your purpose and not my own; from that, I ask for not self-strength but for the spiritual might of Christ, in every step of the way. I need a reminder, every day that I am appointed to service and the beautiful way that you have put in Matt. 20:26-28 about how we aren’t meant to be self-seeking but to have you and your people in mind. Father, praying your Words really does renew my mindset, and I pray further Lord that you can continually clean me in your Word, and others that I speak to, that I keep recharging and growing, by having a desire for your Word, and your objectives. This world is filled with so much dirtiness that requires me to repent and keep working on having a right spiritual life with you. I ask for spiritual cleansing and the removal of adopted worldly practices and that from everything, I can be found fruitful, from us being together. Thank you, I ask that you can empower all your people, and that we can all lift the spiritual banners of Christ! In your Name! I ask, amen!”
Jer. 17:7-8, Matt. 13:23, Titus 3:14, Proverbs 11:30; 2 Peter 1:5-8 – “Dear Lord, the church struggles way too much with doubt, which in many ways, prevents proper spiritual saturation of your powers, I ask that you can help us be the people that can generate spiritual growth among the people you have assigned us to, with generational changes in mind. I pray that we can devote ourselves to what you see as good, and we can repent regularly for practicing anything that you don’t deem as spiritually productive. I hope that we can capture as many people for you, and we can use all our efforts that you have empowered us to, for your Kingdom. Please accept my repentance for areas where I stumbled, I ask in your Name, and thank you, for truly everything! Amen!”
Hebrews 12:14 (NIV), Phil. 2:13, Lev. 20:7-8 (NKJV); 1 Thess. 5:23 (NIV), and Romans 12:1-2 (ESV) – “Dear Jesus, the church requires more prayer to strive for holiness, their spiritual calories are way too low, and they need a proper daily intake of your Word. I pray that you can motivate your people to not only read your Word but for you to meet them in your Word. I pray that you can work in and through that process. I ask for your Spirit to continue the work of consecration in all of their lives, through and through, strength to strength, and we can be in a constant inward change in the renewal of our mindsets to your way of thinking. I ask in Jesus name, thank you and amen!”
Romans 12:6-8; 2 Tim. 4:5, Gal. 6:9-10; 1 Cor. 15:58, Isaiah 61:1 – example prayer, I hope that these practices, can help you see the verses that the Holy Spirit shows you to work on with Him, so that you can have a stronger relationship with Christ and grow into your God-given calling! “Dear Lord, I pray for your church, for your grace to further fuel these gifts of theirs, I pray that bureaucracy and this world’s way of doing things won’t be a hinderance for your people. I ask that you remove those blockages so that the spiritual can flow better. Father, I also pray that every single person at church, not one left behind can fulfill the ministries that you have called them to do, and to do that exceedingly well. I understand that ministry can be tough on the system, so I pray that you can encourage everyone, and help them along the way. I would like you to change the people that are promoting evil at church, and bring them unto the right path. Lord, help your people give themselves fully to your plan, and not our own human intuitions. I would like to repent, for the times that was the case, where it was my own thinking. Holy Spirit, please come and give your people a desire for Christ to be glorified, in every corner of their ministries, and everywhere on this planet. Let us be the people that we are suppose to be. I ask for your healing powers within all of our lives, as we cannot move forward, without you and require you to make tangible spiritual changes, together, as one. I ask in your Name, thank you, for all that you have done for us, in Jesus Name, amen!”
Eph. 4:11-12, Col. 3:23-24, Acts 20:24 John 17:17, Romans 6:19, Psalm 1:3 and Col. 1:10 – example of coming across scriptures that speak to you and turning them into prayer that you actually mean: “Dear Lord, I pray that I can be able to live a life that satisfies your heart, as I continue yielding to your pruning in my life, for areas that aren’t working for you. I would like to establish the ministries of others into fruitfulness, yielding to your glory, and I need your living life to help me make my ministry and theirs living, as well. Father, I ask that the people’s lives that I come across will lead to holiness, by your grace, I pray that you can sanctify them, as they read your Word, and speak to their inward lives. For a very long time, I thought Christianity was suppose to be a certain way but you are showing me something entirely different than the world system. I repent for the times I did things my own way, and it wasn’t what you wanted, causing others to stumble. I ask that you help me back on this task to complete the ministry that you want me to finish. That ultimately Christ can be served and it isn’t some outward procedure. I pray that you can use me to build-up the Body of Christ, by helping me surrender areas that are proven to be fruitless like pride, ego, self-righteousness, being stubborn and putting self-interest firsts, having a grudge and being rebellious, etc. I ask and thank you, in Jesus Name.”
Proverbs 16:18, James 3:16, Proverbs 13:4, and Romans 8:7 – example prayer, if this speaks to you: “Dear Lord, I struggle with being prideful and thinking that I am above others, I also take to the issue of caring about my own ambition than striving for your objectives for my life. [I pray that you can help me with not only reading your Word but transforming those areas that you identify that I should work on, I want to be intentional with my spiritual growth unto the likeness of Jesus and please help me have a growing mindset of Christ. I repent and would like you to change my struggles to the way Christ would behave. Encourage me to keep praying (lifelong process).] I thank you and ask in Jesus name!”
Rev. 3:16, Romans 12:11, and Psalm 42:11 – example prayer, you can pray this: “Dear Lord, I thank you for this day, I have been sitting on the fence with my faith and I would like you to inspire me more spiritually, I would like it if I can be the person you want me to be, I need that zeal, I’m very tired of feeling hopeless and I would like you to help me be more hopeful in you Jesus, I ask and thank you, in your Holy name, Amen!”
Hebrews 12:15, Galatians 6:9 and Proverbs 14:29 – another example, a way to pray that can help your walk with Christ: “Dear Lord, I’ve been pretty bitter lately and I want this to be dealt with, as it is dragging down my testimony and I’m just not happy, I pray that you can address this more with each time I pray about this. I also am feeling like tired of ministry because people are misbehaving and being inappropriate toward me, when I try to share about you or they are just whatever, I need you to encourage me more. Help me not be angry. I repent for areas that I have participated in and would like you to adjust me, so that I can be more holier in those places, I ask in Jesus name, thanks!”
Habakkuk 2:3; 1 Thess. 5:18 and Proverbs 29:1 – “Dear Lord, I need to trust in your timing while I do everything I can to understand and improve in the sanctification process of reading the Bible and applying the changes that you are teaching me. I noticed lately that I haven’t been thankful, in both good and bad circumstances that I am experiencing, I pray that I can find your will in what you bring my way, I would like to not be stubborn. I repent, please change me, for I am but dust. I ask and give you thanks, in Jesus name, amen!”
James 4:17, Matt. 6:14-15, and 1 John 3:17 – “Dear Lord, I pray that I can have more of a desire to forgive and move on, I would like to use my own skillsets to help your people to bring about spiritual good for others. Help me to understand that sharing can also be a form of evangelism that can discover much opportunities for you to work, I thank you and ask in Jesus name, amen!”
Ezekiel 33:8, Amos 8:11, Haggai 1:4-5 – “Dear Lord, thank you for the reminder, I came across these verses while I was reading your Word, and I do need to work on reminding people of your Words, as there continues to be a spiritual famine of the Bible, and I must participate in changing the outcome of that, rather than be inconsiderate of your ways. I thank you and ask, in Jesus name, amen!”
Acts 17:30 – “Dear Lord, administrations again and again requires constant reminders of your commands to bring congregations into repentance, established routinely, and regularly, daily, as much time that can be elapsed; I hope you can convince them to do just that. I also ask that you teach congregations, how to read the Bible, allowing the Holy Spirit to convict the readers for changes, when reading, and to keep improving with Christ, in the sanctification process. I ask and thank you, in Jesus name, amen!”
